The eight challenges explained
Sultry dance
It is your turn for a sultry dance in front of everyone. She or he: the spotlight is for anyone here. One chorus, a couple of moves and the attitude of someone who knows tonight is their night.
How we would put it together: Our DJ would put on a cheeky track, clear a space on the dance floor and get everyone clapping along. You decide how far the show goes.
A shot
You have won a shot! Raise your glass, think of a dedication for your people and toast this time together. Alcohol-free counts too: the gesture and laughter are just the same.
How we would put it together: At a party where this game has been agreed, our team would serve your shot from the available selection — alcoholic or alcohol-free — and put on the soundtrack for your little toast. The group provides the ‘cheers!’.
A forfeit
This segment is exactly what you are thinking: the player takes off one item of clothing. An overshirt, a sock, that jacket… The choice is yours, and the group rounds it off with a big round of applause.
How we would put it together: We would add a suspenseful musical introduction and a fun countdown. You choose the item and your limit; we provide the rhythm and laughter. If it is not for you today, we swap the challenge and the party carries on.
Karaoke
It is your turn to sing. Pick the song you know by heart and treat the group to your best chorus. Bring in a partner for backing vocals: this is about having fun, not passing an audition.
How we would put it together: We would find the backing track, get the microphone ready if the party set-up allows, and turn the group into your front row. No microphone? The DJ turns the music down a little and your chorus does the rest.
Into the pool!
It is your turn to get in the water. If you are at a villa with a pool and swimming is allowed, put on your swimsuit and enjoy a splash. Enter through the designated area: the fun is in the moment, not the acrobatics.
How we would put it together: We would check that swimming is suitable at that time and venue, put on the soundtrack and count you down from the poolside. If there is no pool, swimming is not possible or you do not fancy it, we switch to a dance-off.
Dance-off
Find someone in the group to join you. A chorus each, a made-up move and a duet to finish. The audience decides with applause, although you will probably both end up winning.
How we would put it together: Our DJ would alternate two upbeat clips, the team would introduce the contestants and the audience's applause would decide. The prize: choosing the next big tune together.
Your choice of tune
You have won control of the music for one song. Request your essential tune, dedicate it to someone in the group and get your people onto the dance floor. Yes, that guilty pleasure everyone knows counts too.
How we would put it together: The DJ would take your request and fit it into the next suitable moment of the set. We would prepare a little dedication and dip the music so your chorus can ring out loud and clear.
Cover photo
Your task is to direct the funniest photo of the day. Choose a name for your group, invent an album-cover pose and bring everyone together. An unexpected laugh beats twenty attempts at looking perfect.
How we would put it together: We would find a lovely spot, help arrange the group and count you down. We use your phone or, if booked, the party photographer. Share the photo only if you want to.
