Before the group arrives
- Put the surprise in the chest and announce what is inside.
- Set the real padlock to the same code you have entered here.
- Hide the envelope under a chair, with the message from the first challenge.
- Choose a song everyone knows, on your own equipment or as a local file.
- Prepare a childhood or fancy-dress photo of someone in the group.
Prepare the first challenge's envelope
The message on screen means ‘Look under the chair’. That is where the envelope you hid should be.

To earn the first digit, the whole group must pose like a rock band. Bring the attitude — your album drops tomorrow!
